Digital Void Announces Full Speaker Lineup for Memes, Myths, and Magic!
We’re thrilled to announce comedian Abby Govindan, Buzzfeed reporter Kelsey Weekman, and digital artists Alex Petros and Morris Kolman are joining the speaker lineup for Memes, Myths, and Magic, on Saturday, April 29, at Caveat at 7:00 PM ET!
Memes, Myths, and Magic is an interactive festival featuring the internet’s most critical, funny, and engaging thinkers. We’re bringing together a wide range of expert storytellers, writers, comics, academics, and strategists to explore the role of memes, myths, and magic in our lives.
From AI and TikTok to Slender Man and Backrooms, we’re bringing together a prolific cast of speakers explore how memes, myths, and magic influence our lives. Featuring cutting-edge storytelling and insightful cultural takeaways, Memes, Myths, and Magic shines light on the ways digital culture and technology shape our lives in unexpected ways.

🔮 Abby Govindan is a stand-up comedian and writer based in New York City.
🔮 Annie Rauwerda is the creator and host of Depths of Wiki and a freelance writer.
🔮 Kelsey Weekman is a journalist specializing in internet culture and Gen Z. She is currently a social news reporter for BuzzFeed News. On the side, she writes a newsletter about online youth culture called okay zoomer.
🔮 CT Jones is an internet culture reporter for Rolling Stone focused on creator culture and LGBTQ+ news.
🔮 Moises Mendez II is a staff writer at TIME. He covers internet culture, movies, books, TV, podcasts, and music. His work can be seen in the Atlantic, Rolling Stone, Fast Company, HuffPost, and more.
🔮 Ryan Broderick is a journalist, video producer, podcaster, and community moderator. He's the writer of the Garbage Day newsletter.
🔮 Dr. Jamie Cohen is the Head of Education at Digital Void, a digital culture expert, writer, speaker, educator, and producer. He founded a college degree in internet studies, wrote a textbook on the subject and is the co-author of the first peer reviewed paper on Pepe the Frog.
